This is not true,, im so happy with stratus,, this is the best thing i’ve ever done in my life, i stared one year ago with the smallest package which is 500 income monthly, now 12 months later, im billing 13,000 dollars a month, NO Joke, all you gotta do is be patien, because it does take 2 months to get pay, it is all worthy.
I am still waiting to make money with stratus. I can read english and understand it very well, I was told that i would get jobs in my area and they would be worth while. But not yet?? I pretty much lost or gave away $12,000 to the Denver Colorado stratus office. Joe is the VP and is a very smooth talker. yes he got me.. I am offered jobs that are worth $7.00hr. I did not invest this kind of money to make $7 to $10 dollars an hr.and have to buy there own insurance (whats up with that)? I WAS SCAMED…. No one knows how to bid a job in the denver office. I am only offered under bid jobs or jobs that are taken from one FO and resold to another. (RIP_OFF BS COMPANY…. I complained but Joe dont care he has my money… STAY AWAY FROM THE DENVER COLORADO STRATUS BRANCH….
I see fault on both sides here as I did my due diligence when investigating a purchase of an area franchise for Stratus. First, anyone who thinks they can rely on another company or person for their own success is a fool. Statements like ” They lied to me!” are not valid in that if you don’t know how to read English and don’t have 100.00 to have an attorney look over the contract you deserve all you get in this country. No where in the contract with Stratus does it say you can not go out and knock on doors and get your own accounts. You folks are wanting an opportunity at your own business but are still in the “employee” state of mind and that has to stop. There is no doubt some Stratus sectional owners have wronged folks otherwise there would not be pending RICO actions against them so I am not holding them blameless. I also know the owners of the company in St Louis are negligent when returning calls to even the sectional franchisors. I believe marketing is the white elephant in the room here which is not discussed seriously enough with potential franchisees. If you can get the money you will not be turned down and that is morally wrong in any business. Marketing director should include helping franchisees as well as her own company and should be ashamed if she is not. I don’t care if she is paid for it or not. Follow up is in the formula for success. Ever heard of the money is in the follow up? When Stratus or any other company does not do this, they deserve what they get.
PLEASE, NO BODY, NO ONE GO WITH STRATUS BUILDING SOLUTION. THEY TAKE UR MONEY AND PLAY SO BAD WITH PEOPLE. THIS IS A BIG SCAN COMPANY.

let me tell you how it works… before you sign the contract they lie to you about every simple thing…where the account will be, what kind of account it will be(no restaurant)only offices in your area, and they have them you don’t have to wait that long after training you will get them. only new accounts with the amount of money you want or close …you will be responsible for your own business…after you sign the contract the training took us 4 months, after calling them every week 2 to 3 to 4 times each. when you finish training they don’t want to give us the certification. they make us call them for it for 6 weeks…after that they start offering accounts not in our city, really small accounts not the amounts of money we want. they don’t give you information about the accounts like that you will not know what’s the problem about it and you will not have chance to meet with the other franchisee they took that account from… really short notice they call you at 11 am they want to meet you at 1 pm in the same night they want you to clean it ho ho ho hoooo …when they feel that you are not an easy person to trick they start new tactics…they show you a big account the one you want and they want you to take 2 small ones with it…no problem…the trick is they want you to sign the small one first like that when you come to the big one they will tell you sorry it’s not available sorry…then you will be stuck with accounts you cannot make any money on, less than minimum wage …when you say no ..they will tell you we fulfilled our contract for the package you choosed that means they will not give you your money back…lie lie lie trick trick lie deceiving information….court with other franchisees will be the solution
I actually sold franchises for Stratus and I will tell you that it is not that great a deal. Stratus stacks the deck to their benefit. They hit you with fees, and pad a lot of the items you have to buy so they make money. The idea is to make money off the franchisees. Master Franchisors who are struggling will lie, withhold information and under price accounts and constantly re-sell them. That is how they make money.
I am a franchisee of Stratus Building Solutions. This is how it works. You pay Stratus and they supply you with cleaning accounts. They in turn obtain cleaning accounts by bidding jobs less than the competition and then take a 21% commission for supplying franchisees with the work. They sell the chemicals and you can bill as part of the job, but they take 21% of all expenses.
Franchisors provide the accounts. The franchisor makes more money signing up new franchisees, so they concentrate on this.
Accounts that Do not make money (most) are simply transferred to newer, naive franchisees. What do you call a business that continues to look for new investors and re-sell money losing investments to to the unsuspecting public?
I think for a proper review you should seek others than the marketing director of the business being reviewed.
